Voltage Protector

Choose voltage protection products by regional plug standard: US, UK and EU voltage protector series.

BEFORE ORDERING THIS MODEL

Confirm the application behind the rating.

The model page is a starting point. Final suitability depends on the local supply, load behaviour, plug version and agreed production specification.

Supply

Nominal voltage, actual high/low readings, frequency and repeated outage behaviour.

Load

Appliance type, running current, starting current and whether several devices share the output.

Protection scope

High/low voltage cut-off, delayed restart, surge, overcurrent and installation-level protection are separate questions.

For compressor appliances: ask whether the delay restarts after a new voltage fluctuation or merely accumulates separate periods of normal voltage. The operating logic matters more than the words “3-minute delay” alone.
BUYER FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to common sourcing and specification questions. Final suitability still depends on the exact market, load and product configuration.

What information is needed to select a voltage protector?

Provide the target market, nominal voltage, actual low and high field voltage, appliance type, rated current, plug or wiring format, restart-delay requirement and expected quantity.

Is voltage protection the same as surge protection?

No. Voltage protection responds to sustained abnormal high or low voltage, while surge protection is intended for short transient events. A product may combine both functions, but each function should be specified separately.

Why does restart delay matter for refrigerators and compressors?

After an interruption or protection trip, a restart delay can prevent immediate reconnection. The required timing should be matched to the appliance and project instead of assumed from a generic label.

Can the cut-off thresholds be customized?

Some product architectures support fixed or adjustable thresholds. The useful range, tolerance, recovery logic and certification impact should be reviewed before a customized value is frozen.
